Diabetes Meal Plans launches customisable weekly menus with blood sugar-friendly recipes and support features

A new subscription service from Diabetes Meal Plans offers personalised weekly menus featuring nutritious, blood sugar-friendly recipes designed to support type 2 diabetes management, with added resources and community support to encourage long-term healthy eating.

A new weekly meal plan from Diabetes Meal Plans is being promoted as a practical option for people with type 2 diabetes and prediabetes, with the company saying the recipes are designed to support steadier blood sugar, lower A1c and weight loss while still feeling satisfying. The latest menu includes creamy noodles, a moussaka bake, feta burgers with sweet beet relish and breaded chicken strips, alongside additional options for members in the Southern Hemisphere, where the rotation features a savoury baked pancake, blueberry cinnamon muffins, a rice dish with a twist and a slow cooker meal built for leftovers. According to the company, the programme is intended to make healthy eating feel manageable rather than restrictive.

The service is structured around a fresh menu delivered each Thursday evening US Eastern time, with meals that can be adjusted to suit individual preferences. Members are able to add breakfasts and snacks from the recipe collection, swap days around using the planner and generate a shopping list automatically. Diabetes Meal Plans says each weekly pack includes four lunches and four dinners, plus meal-prep advice and cooking class videos. It also points to a wider library of more than 1,500 blood sugar-friendly recipes and 250 cooking classes as part of the subscription.

Its approach sits within a broader pattern of advice from major health organisations, which generally encourage balanced meals built around non-starchy vegetables, lean protein and controlled portions of carbohydrate. Cleveland Clinic recommends the plate method for type 2 diabetes, while Johns Hopkins Medicine says a Mediterranean-style pattern, rich in whole grains, healthy fats and fibre, can be helpful for people with prediabetes. Diabetes UK similarly promotes nutritionally balanced plans with measured carbohydrates and minimal highly processed food, and Healthline and Medical News Today both publish seven-day diabetes menus that stress variety, calorie awareness and flavour.

Diabetes Meal Plans also frames the offer as part of a longer-term support system rather than a one-off recipe list. The company says it has spent more than a decade helping members improve blood sugar control and reduce reliance on medication, and it highlights customer feedback as evidence of that impact. One member, Gregg B, said: “I love all the choices. And the amount time you spend on posting articles of value to us and how well the articles explain what is being said without leaving us with questions about sources or verification’s. Also the cooking class video’s are very helpful. Just keep up what you are doing.” Another, Val, said: “I wanted to see my A1c under 5.7but my doctor told me that because of the medications I have to take, not to expect that to happen.I got great news today. My A1C is 5.8!! I am so grateful for DMP!”
