Dexcom and Health2Sync have announced a partnership to integrate continuous glucose monitoring with a digital platform, aiming to improve coordinated diabetes care in Australia and Singapore amidst rising demand for connected health services in the Asia-Pacific region.
Dexcom and Health2Sync have struck a partnership aimed at making diabetes care more connected in Australia and Singapore, linking continuous glucose monitoring with a digital platform used to manage long-term conditions. According to reports from Pulse+iT and IT Brief Asia, the collaboration is intended to help people living with diabetes and their healthcare teams work from the same data more easily.
Health2Sync says it supports about 1.7 million users across the region and offers tools that allow people to track glucose, blood pressure, weight and daily activity in one place. The company’s platform also connects patients with clinicians, family members and carers, which it says can make day-to-day adjustments and follow-up simpler.
The deal underlines the growing push for more joined-up digital health services in Asia-Pacific, where demand is rising for systems that can reduce administrative friction and improve care coordination. Dexcom is best known for its glucose biosensing technology, while Health2Sync has built a wider chronic disease management business with a presence in several Asian markets.
The companies have not disclosed the full technical or commercial details of the integration, but Health2Sync said the connection is expected to go live in the coming months. That leaves open the possibility of broader rollout beyond the initial markets if the partnership proves effective.
